I had walked past this place often and been curious about it. Every time I tried, it was full and I could not get in. This time a friend and I went at about 6:30 on a Thursday evening, earlier than I usually go out, and there were seats. Afterwards we moved next door to Rentan, which I wrote about in my August Rentan note.
It is a bar that serves food, near Suyeong Station. The first order has to include at least two dishes. I had the impression the place is known for its raw beef, so I chose the mungtigi, and added the cheeseburger I had seen in other people’s reviews. On the menu the raw beef is 38,000 won and the cheeseburger 12,000 won.

The beef was in good condition and pleasantly chewy. I was told they use meat slaughtered that day.

I liked the patty in the cheeseburger. I wondered if that is because this is a place that handles meat.
We finished three bottles of soju quickly. I look for a soju cap printed with INTJ, and once again it did not turn up.
The prices seemed acceptable to me, and the menu is a collection of things I like. My one complaint is that the room is small. The bar opens at 6 p.m. and is closed on Sundays. Reservations are taken only for the 6 to 7 p.m. slot, and after that seating is in order of arrival. There is no parking.
Next time I want to try the sea urchin yukhoe.
