1. Overview

Jaemyeong Jin operates jaemyeong.com, blog.jaemyeong.com, and resume.jaemyeong.com. This policy describes visit statistics and cookies used by Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Coupang Partners, and embedded Google Maps.

Google Analytics is used to review visit statistics. The site does not request account registration or login.

2. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used for visit statistics. It may collect pages visited, time spent, referral source, browser and device type, screen size, and approximate location at the country or city level.

If you do not want Google Analytics collection, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser.

3. Google AdSense

Google and other third-party advertising providers may use cookies to show ads based on visits to this site or other sites. Ads are limited to pages where advertising is enabled; résumé, contact, privacy policy, and 404 pages do not show ads.

For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent message from AdSense collects advertising consent. This site's cookie banner covers visit statistics (and Coupang Partners on the blog). Choosing “Decline” there also turns off AdSense ad cookies, but choosing “Accept” does not give advertising consent.

4. Ad personalization settings

You can turn off personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Ads may still appear, but may not be personalized.

5. Coupang Partners

The Coupang Partners script on the blog is loaded only after you choose “Accept” in the blog's cookie banner; before you choose, or if you choose “Decline”, it is not loaded. This choice is separate from AdSense advertising consent.

6. Google Maps

Pages with an embedded Google Map may store cookies or similar data needed for the map service.

7. Cookie settings

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen this site's cookie banner and change your choice. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage: consent-v2 for visit statistics and consent-affiliate for Coupang Partners. If the AdSense consent message has loaded, the reopened banner also shows “Ad consent settings”, which opens that message so you can change your advertising consent.
