Mango shaved ice at Cafe 824 in Gijang, on a terrace by the sea

After seafood at Gijang Haenyeochon, my family and I moved to a cafe. It was about 4 on a Monday afternoon. Cafe 824 is on Gijang Haean-ro, and we sat at an outdoor terrace table with a view of the sea.

The surroundings were quiet. There were not many guests, so it felt relaxed and still. I think that was because it was a weekday during the day.

We ordered the signature mango shaved ice. It is for two. Large pieces of mango, scored with a knife, sit on top, and the red beans come separately in a small dish.

The shaved ice was good. Still, the main reason I recommend this cafe is the view from the seats that face the sea.

I was the driver that day. The weather was so nice that I felt like going fishing and having a drink. About a month later I came once more with a friend.
