# Baeksu Nongwon, Suyeong: I like the sweet potato after the meat

> A barbecue place in Suyeong I keep going back to. Pork belly first, marinated ribs last, and the sweet potato from the coals as dessert.

At about 6:40 on a Saturday evening I went to Baeksu Nongwon with a younger companion. I have been many times, so there are already notes from [April](/en/blog/suyeong-baeksu-nongwon-20260416/) and [August](/en/blog/suyeong-baeksu-nongwon-20260815/). That night we ate lightly here and went on to [Rentan](/en/blog/suyeong-rentan-20260919/) for a second round.

When I come here I start with pork belly. I did the same this time.

For the last round of meat I chose the marinated ribs.

I recommend it as a barbecue place in Suyeong that gives good value. On weekdays it opens at 5 p.m.; on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays it opens at noon. It closes at 1 a.m., with last orders at midnight. There is parking.

They put sweet potatoes in the brazier by default. You take them out after the meat and eat them like dessert, and I like that.
