# OK Hoe Pocha in Mandeok: they cut us the gizzard shad they forgot

> A sashimi place in Mandeok I often visit with family. The gizzard shad was left off our platter, so they sliced one for us separately at no charge.

This is a sashimi restaurant I have been to many times with family. Now and then, on a day when I have nothing else on, we time it to when a family member gets off work and have sashimi together. This visit was at about 7 on a Tuesday evening. It is close to Mandeok Station.

We ordered the assorted sashimi. They said they would put a little gizzard shad on it. But the person cutting the fish forgot, and the platter came without it.

When my family member said that was a pity, the person serving us sliced one gizzard shad separately and brought it over. They did not charge for it. The sashimi was very fresh. The prices are reasonable and the people who work there are kind, so it is a sashimi place I would recommend to anyone who lives near Mandeok.

We were having a few glasses of soju with the sashimi when grilled fish came out. So we drank a little more.

We finished with the spicy fish stew and went home.
