At about 7:30 on a Thursday evening, a friend who wanted mackerel bar sushi called me out, and we went down an alley in Jeonpo. We had no reservation, but a seat happened to be free. The interior is very stylish, and from the counter we could watch the cooking right in front of us.

The bar sushi was good, with no fishy taste. The monkfish liver maki we ordered with it was rich too.

Partway through, my friend seemed hungry and added ham and cheese katsu, and then fried horse mackerel.

Finally we filled up on monkfish liver pate.

Each plate is on the small side, but the prices are easy, so it suits ordering a bit of everything. It is hidden in an alley, yet seats fill quickly and people wait.
