# Pogunamujip, Geumjeong: fair pork skirt meat, too much smoke

> A pork skirt meat grill in Geumjeong-gu I found on social media. The meat was fair and the charcoal good, but orders came late and the smoke lingered.

This was dinner on the day I had [seafood in Yongwon](/en/blog/jinhae-yongwon-hoechojang-20260920/) at lunchtime. A friend and I went to a pork skirt meat restaurant I had come across in a social media post. It was about 7:20 on a Sunday evening, and I drove. So I had a soft drink instead of alcohol.

When we arrived there were about two groups waiting, which made us third. We got in without a long wait.

We ordered two servings of the salt-grilled meat and two of the marinated. Each is 14,000 won for a 120 g serving.

I have had this cut at other restaurants many times. Here it was fair, with nothing that stood out and nothing bad. I cannot call the price cheap or expensive either. The charcoal looked good. The soybean paste stew with rice is 2,000 won, so it is easy to add.

There were inconveniences. Things we ordered were missed or came late. Whether that was because they were busy or because of how the place is run, I can only guess. The smoke did not clear well, and when we left the smell was in my clothes and hair.

Of the other restaurants I found through the same person's posts, none has stood out yet by my own standards. From now on I mean to choose restaurants by my own taste.

It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and has parking. I do not think I would drive there again myself just for this. If someone else were driving, I might go.
