# Zennin in Dongnae: a low-cost five-pick set with gyoza and hot pot

I have a friend from college, and we tend to get in touch around the time my friend leaves work. That is how we met up this Monday evening too. I had seen this izakaya on Instagram several times and was curious. Above all, I wanted to try the gyoza.

It is near Dongnae Station. There is a large teppan griddle inside. The room was nearly empty when we walked in, and we were the first customers of the day.

We ordered the special five-pick set, which is 42,900 won. You choose five items, and a hot pot counts as two. So we chose four things: a hot pot, grilled Patagonian toothfish, tako wasabi, and gyoza.

It suits anyone who wants an izakaya without a big bill. It is open all year, and from Monday to Thursday it opens at 5:30 p.m. For parking they point you to the public lot at Dongnae Station.

The set let us try several dishes without spending much. The à la carte prices seemed low as well, and the food off the griddle tasted good.
